العوائش

:)

I pretend that everybody can read the title. ahah!
Al-'Awaisy. Plural of 'Aisyah'. Yes the story of 3 Aisyah(s).

Actually I want to write 'Daddy's Girl'. Yet, there's an old entry sounds like that. heh. :P Hence... :D

There's a man asked Rasulullah, my father has passed away, can I still do kindness to my late father?
Somebody might think that, the father has gone. Then the chance has also gone.
Yet, do you know Rasulullah answer, YES!
There are still six things we can do, even after our parents has gone meeting The Creator.

Prayers for them, asking forgiveness for them, respect and be kind to their friends, protect the bond of relationship with their relatives, fulfill their wishes that they were unable to fulfill during their lifetime, and fulfill their promises to anybody they have promised before.
Aisyah binti Saad ibn Abi Waqqas
Aisyah binti Talhah ibn Ubaidillah
Aisyah binti Uthman ibn Affan

Three of them are devoted to seek knowledge, rich, daughters of three men that are promised with Jannah. And three of them love their fathers deeply. They will do whatever they could, just to be kind to their late beloved fathers.

They are so dear to their fathers despite the nature of Arab during that time hate daughters so much. Up till they buried their daughters alive!

Uno

Aisyah binti Saad is the last daughter of Sahabah died during that time. Her father said to her when his last breath was to come, o' my daughter, I don't have lot of children. Among them involve in business and some of them involve in battle. But you, my daughter, I serve you to knowledge.

And she proved it. Every details of what we know about sunnah actually come from her. When the teacher of Imam Malik was dying, Imam Malik asked him to whom he must go to seek for knowledge after his teacher died? And his teacher said, go to Aisyah binti Saad, indeed she has limitless knowledge.

She even prayed to Allah to lengthen her age so she can teach people and... she can remind them of her father's knowledge and kindness. Allah... what a prayer that has been answered.

Dos

Aisyah binti Talhah. Talhah got three nicknames from Rasulullah. Talhah al-Kheir(Good), Talhah al-Jud(Whole-hearted), Talhah al-Fayyadh(Generous).

Talhah said to his children when he was going to die, I bequeath all of you Aisyah to seek knowledge. And Aisyah was three years old that time.

And Aisyah binti Talhah is very rich. She never give sadaqah in little amount. She spent for sadaqah thousands dirham in a day(not week or month). You know why? Because she said, I want to be like Talhah al-Fayyadh. Allah... what a daughter.

She never really met her father, but one day she dreamt of him. He said to her, O' Aisyah... I'm in a good condition but the water is distressing me. Aisyah woke up, she was in Madinah and her father's grave is in Basrah. She prepared everything to go to Basrah. And when she arrived there, she asked people to dig out her father's grave. And the body of her father stay the same. The body of syahid remain as it is. Subhanallah. She found there's source of water flowing on the right side of her father's grave. Subhanallah... what a dream she had before. Of course, as a daughter, she ask people to replace her father in another grave located in a land she bought for 10000 dirham. And she made the best grave just for her father to rest peacefully.

Her eldest son named Talhah, for her deep love towards her father. And his son is as generous as her and Talhah ibn Ubaidillah. Because he said, I want to be like my mother and my grandfather al-Fayyadh.

Tres

Aisyah binti Uthman. Uthman ibn Affan was killed. Yes... she isn't one of the scholar. You know why? Because for 30 years she was seeking for justice for her late father. She asked Ali ibn Abi Talib, when the killer of her father will get qisas-ed? And he replied after condition get better. And leadership changed to Muawiyah, she asked him, when the killer of her father will get qisas-ed? And even Muawiyah couldn't answer her.

In fact, Uthman ibn Affan has lots of children. But when her father was killed, she was the one who stood up and said, I will seek for justice for my father!

What a love.

May Allah bless them all. :) And make us good children to our parents. And yes... I love my daddy deeply after Rasulullah.

May Allah help me in spreading goodness about my dad. Allah, make me a reason so my dad can live besides Rasulullah in Your Jannah. And be loyal to our parents. Do as much as we can. They're blessings upon us.

Allah yarhamhum. :)
