Marriage

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah. :)

I think somebody might roll his/her eyes, reading the post title. Naa... not a controversial issue here. And I'm not going to invite you yet. ;)

Just... it's a season of marriage invitations(ssss) :P. And I personally can't believe myself reaching this age to see my friends here and there getting married. Alhamdulillah for the opportunity. :D

I feel blessed seeing them. Don't you ever feel that marriage is something 'magical'? It's beyond word. Okay. I don't have the experience of being married ;) . Yet, this is my experience of seeing marriages all around me. 

I still remember one of the khutbah, stating that marriage is a contract from contracts with Allah. See how wonderful the bond is? It's a vow taken by the husband directly with Allah to take care of his wife. Subhanallah. It's a line of words that breaks the barrier between what's permissible and what's not.

Just a line of words. That change the status completely. And pours down the blessings and mercy upon men and women. Upgrading a believer to a higher rank. Can't you see the miracle?

It wasn't a mere promise that can be broken anytime you want. And as easy as you want. It a sign of full commitment. It wasn't a three words 'I-LOVE-YOU' only, yet beyond that. It's a 'I'll-stay-by-you-no-matter-what', it's also a 'we'll-walk-together-all-through-this-life-till-Jannah'. It wasn't a bed of roses (of course!).

It wasn't a mere 'you-complete-me', yet something more. Something that makes whatever you're doing good for you. Being patient, or being happy, or even being sad, you got multiple hasanat. Even the status of prayer of a married couple is different than the prayer of a single muslim. Can't you see that?

Subhanallah. Just if you ever ponder and think carefully about ar-Rum verse 21st. Have deep thought and talk with His Love Letters. You'll find nothing except beautiful-ness. :)

Then, why not pursuing to the step if you're able to? And I would personally dislike the excuses of 'not having enough money, not finishing my study' and some more. Heh. Why don't you have faith in Him?

And for those who were still thinking and saying 'all good men are taken', have faith in Him. Don't you ever know Allah has a name call al-'Adl? So... do you think, if you're a good servant to Allah, He'll leave you just like that without a good life partner? If you try to change for good and strive on goodness path, don't you ever feel Allah will sent a good person for you? Have faith, and ask Allah. :)

Ahah! Okay. Some might be asking when's my time. But will you please before asking me, and after asking me, pray for me to be able to find my Imam to lead me to Jannah? :) 

Pray when it's the time, I'm ready to be a good wife to him, a good mother for our children, me and my generations will be the Imam for this ummah and raise up this Deen.
