I just watched K*ngdom of H*aven. And my comment is LIAR! A BIG lie indeed. The whole nation has been lied by this movie. I dont really know what award it had gain. Yet, from history point of view... it is completely a distorted history. :(
I'm frustrated. We need to do something O' Muslim! They're distorting our history. Our great history.
The movie sent a horror, bad message about Islam. The scripts, the characters, everything. Its about the Battle of Hittin. Between Salahuddin al-Ayyubi and The Crusaders. Its all about manners, every single teaching Islam has taught.
The mistakes I've found:
1-They emphasized the heroic of the Crusaders. (of course, look at who produce the movie. Heh. The tagline 'speak the truth eventhough you'll ended up dead' not even valid in this movie. They already distorted the history. Completely)
2-Islam attack the Kuffar? I think the producer team studied the history well. Thats why they cant twist all part of history. All dialogues and all characteristics.
3-Salahuddin enter the Jerusalem without any single blood shed. He didn't bluntly attack the Holy City.
4-Islam never taught us to attack first. We offer them peace message until they (the kuffar) lost patience with us and attack us. Islam is the matter of defending and looking for any peace solution rather than war.
5-Salahuddin is not an arrogant person. The way they potrayed him make him looked arrogant. Indeed he is NOT. (heh. of course they want to raise up their hero right?)
6-Muslim never and ever attack civilians. They fought only with the soldiers. And Islam never attack those who're not armed.
7-Muslim pray together, right next to each other. Prostrate to Makkah. Not the Baitul Madqis. And the prayer during war is completely different.
8-The crusaders were afraid to death. Dreadly afraid. Heh, you'll never understand Islam till you embrace it.
9-Islam doesn't humiliate people. Even though he is the kuffar. Nonetheless the prisoners of war. We respect them in a matter of respect as human being. You'll never ever see the best deen treats prisoner of war other than Islam.
10-I never call someone who has affair with other people's wife as honourable. That's sicken me!
Heh. I'm tired of listing the whole mistakes. From the starting till the end. :-<
